Okay, so this is our new family blog. I have a blog that I regularly post to, Mabeljoy.blogspot.com, and it has been great, but what about when we have more kids, then what? So I decided to start one for our family, and hopefully our family will soon grow. I'm not sure that I will really post too much to this blog, can't promise much, but I'll post when there's something good to post.
Anyway, right now my family consists of me, NataLee Allen, my husband, Fred Allen and Mabel, our daughter, who is 19 months old. No pets and no other children as of yet, but we hope more will join us soon. Anyone who has any children that they don't want, we might be interested. We would love to adopt children, it is just so expensive and right now we can't aford it. Having them is so much cheaper -- Mabel only cost us $300 -- the best $300 we have ever spent. I would have paid thousands for her if I had it, but good thing she didn't cost that much, since we don't have thousands.
Anyway, this whole blog of my own thing might be dangerous, as you can see -- I do tend to ramble on. This is where I should probably post a family picture -- too bad we don't really have one. Yep, I'm really bad at that. I am pretty good at taking pictures of Mabel, but not so good at taking pictures of Mabel with other people, especially with me. I hate getting my picture taken, because I know in doing so, I am being recorded in a way that usually I do not like, because I usually hate my pictures. Why do I hate my pictures? Because I don't look skinny and cute in them -- I somehow want the camera to perform miraculous feets and make my terrible body look beautiful. And it would be nice if the camera made it look like I did my hair and makeup as well. Whenever anyone invents a camera like that, let me know. Then I'll get my picture taken. Anyway, In my dreams, I am skinny and cute and have cute clothes and all that stuff, but that is not reality. In reality I'm fat and for the most part have the same wardrobe I have had for years, because finding clothes to fit on this crazy body is nearly impossible, so I never really feel like I have anything good to wear, and I would rather just wear jogging pants and sweatshirts. They really are the best. So, sorry their is no family picture. Maybe one day, I'll figure out how to lose weight or at least trick the camera and then I'll post a picture, until then, I can just keep dreaming.
